📍 Şarapsa Han
Şarapsa Han is a 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai on the old coast road about 15 kilometres west of Alanya, toward Side. Built under Sultan Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev II (around 1236–1246), it sheltered Silk Road trade caravans overnight. The structure is a long, low, fortress-like hall of cut stone with one fortified entrance and a small mosque, designed for defence as much as rest. Restored today, it occasionally hosts events and gala dinners and makes a short heritage stop between Side and Alanya.
