Legend says Cleopatra herself swam in these clear waters when Mark Antony gifted her the region, and locals still swear the soft sand was shipped in from Egypt. Today it draws sunseekers with calm turquoise shallows, comfortable sunbeds, lively watersports, and views of the castle rock rising above the sea.
