What is the same on most Green Canyon boat trips
Green Canyon is a reservoir behind the Oymapınar dam, about forty minutes inland from Side. The route is set by the water: out between the canyon walls, swim stops in cold, clear water, lunch at a restaurant near the lake and back. What actually differs between companies
- Hotel pickup. Some prices are for a meeting point; pickup from your hotel costs more. Compare offers with the same pickup.
- Lunch and drinks. Check whether lunch is included, whether soft drinks on board are included, and what you pay for at the restaurant.
- Boat size and crowding. Large boats carry several groups at once. Ask how many guests are on board in high season.
- Extra stops. Some trips add a shop stop on the way back. Ask before you book if you would rather skip it.
- Who runs it. Hotel desks, booths and marketplaces often resell the same local trips. Ask who operates the trip and who picks you up.
- Cancellation. Look for free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour.

Across all our tours, August had the most guests on our 2026 bookings (1,292), followed by July (1,035) and October (902). The Green Canyon boat trip runs from May to mid-November.
Is there anyone who can't join the Green Canyon boat trip?
It is not suitable for people with mobility impairments. Children under 3 travel free on the hotel-pickup options but cannot join the meeting-point option. From age 12, the adult price applies.
I can't swim. Can I still go on the boat trip?
Yes. The swim stops are optional, and non-swimmers simply stay on board.
Will you pick us up from our hotel, and at what time?
Yes, if you book a hotel-pickup option: from Side hotels, or from Alanya hotels from June. On the tour page, choose your hotel under "Check your pickup area" to see whether it is covered and its pickup time. If you are staying in Side old town, choose "Side Anadolu Türkü Evi" as your pickup point, and we send its Google Maps link the day before.
What should we bring on the Green Canyon boat trip?
Swimwear, a towel, comfortable clothes and a camera. Alcohol and pets are not allowed on the tour.
